The answer is yes. Riot Games has announced that starting this year, we will receive 'Clash-specific end of season rewards and recognition for our teams' triumphs, based on Victory Points earned over the season'.
To differentiate the rewards and make the Victory Points an actual difference between players, the company has created some tiers and sub-tiers for rewards:
Contenders – players who participated and saw some success in Clash:
- Contender Summoner Icon: 1 VP.
- Contender Clash Logo: 200 VP.
- Contender Clash Banner: 1000 VP.
Conquerors – players who saw some good success in multiple Clash events:
- Conqueror Summoner Icon: 2000 VP.
- Conqueror Clash Logo: 3000 VP.
- Conqueror Clash Banner: 4000 VP.
Champions – players who were major Victory Point earners:
- Champion Summoner Icon: 5000 VP.
- Champion Clash Logo: 6000 VP.
- Champion Clash Banner: 7000 VP.
As Riot Games also mentions in their report, we still have two more full weekends of Clash where we can earn some Victory Points before the season ends. Actually, there will be an event, the Worlds Clash event, where we can get higher stakes!
For that tournament, we will have 16-team brackets with more Victory Points on the table.
